Artist's comment: Having lived many years in Morocco, her country of "heart" was marked by the architecture, narrow streets where the scents, the colors, the sounds of the Medina’s street which have managed to fill her inspiration and her memories unforgettable.

The whole series of paintings of the Medina show the narrow streets which are key places for the visitors. She wanted this series to be executed in oil painting and knife-made.

Artist's comment: Deep down within herself, as a child and with the sayings of her family, Danygil has been affected by the Algerian War, the Independence of her motherland she does not know yet.

Without resentment and without animosity, she wanted to put emphasis on the gathering of the people, the tolerance, accepting others differences… The canvas “Tolerance” is born where each individual belongs.

Artist's comment: Danygil loves the nature; the horse is the most beautiful and the smartest animal who marked the youth of the artist in Morocco.
